Self
Protection Training -
Handling Aggressive Behaviour
Seminars enable the use of cognitive behavioural techniques,
assertive tactical communication skills and effective
body language reading and projection to defuse potentially
hazardous situations. The Youth Offending Team of The Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea recently (March 2007) were recipients of training in the intricacies of theoretical and practical self protection training in dealing with adolescents at work. Floyd worked in conjunction with the experienced Forensic Psychologist Angela Brown of the consultancy company Psychsolutions to deliver effective learning and coping strategies to Youth Offending Team members.
Practical workshops are run for individuals and groups
by arrangement. Previous clients include British
American Tobacco, Clarins UK, Total Oil Marine and Esso
UK. In July at the international 'No Mind Festival' in Angsbacka, Sweden those who attended benefited from the collaboration of Dragon Tiger and Joshua Isaacs presenting iiChi self protection training workshops. The use of effective tactical communication skills are taught to ensure that those dealing with the public have the appropriate communication skills and knowledge of conflict management to defuse potentially hazardous situations. The accredited Security First Elite Training Certificate training has been featured in the February 2006 issue of 'Boxing News'. This training enables the coaching of learning necessary for security personnel to avoid the potential legal repercussions following last resort scenarios necessitating physical intervention.
